PRET A DINER “The Director’s Cut” | 9 November–17 December | MUNICH
PRET A DINER “The Director‘s Cut” conquers the capital of Bavaria. Juan Amador (9–17 November), Nuno Mendes (9–23 November), Ollysan (18–27 November), Tim Raue (24 November–11 December) and Adam Byatt (28 November–11 December) democratise the star cuisine at the former Filmcasino cinema near Hofgarten. During the last week, the highlights will be offered as best-of menus. The Munich Filmcasino becomes a temporary event location for an individual and creative fusion of art, culture, indulgence, and nightlife.

“GQ Men of the Year 2011” | 28 October | Berlin
Around 900 invited guests came to the “GQ Men of the Year 2011” gala in Berlin. This year, the glamorous evening event took again place – for the second time in a row – at the Komische Oper in Berlin. During the gala, outstanding personalities from international and German show and music business as well as from society, sports, culture, and fashion were honoured with the “GQ Man of the Year” award. K&K spoilt the GQ guests already for the third time.
Reebok “Reethym of Life” | 26 October | LONDON
After the great success of PRET A DINER “The Minotaur”, Kofler & Kompanie organised the first big event in London – the UK launch of the Reebok campaign “Reethym of Life” in cooperation with Sony Music Entertainment. The show programme offered an incredible laser show and live acts of international stars like Bluey Robinson, The Labyrinth, and Jack Beats were offered. More than 400 guests enjoyed innovative food and attentive service by K&K in the sensational atmosphere of the London location “The Old Vic Tunnels”.
Louis Vuitton “Game On” | 26 October | DÜSSELDORF
“Game on” – that was the motto at Louis Vuitton in Düsseldorf. An evening addressing the male customers of the French luxury brand. Kofler & Kompanie was responsible for the culinary accompaniment of this “evening of games”. The 150 fashion-conscious gentlemen enjoyed among other things mini hot dogs in rosemary wrap with dried tomatoes and rocket, small dry-aged rib eye burgers with Bull’s Heart tomatoes and icicle radish salad.
10th anniversary of the Jewish Museum in Berlin | 24 October | BERLIN
The Jewish Museum in Berlin celebrated its 10th anniversary with a ceremonial act during which the German Chancellor Angela Merkel was honoured with the Prize for Understanding and Tolerance. Following the official part, K&K spoilt the 800 invited high-ranking guests from politics, media, and society with a 3-course menu consisting of: partridge pasty, star renette chutney, and pickled pumpkin | roast saddle of venison calf, red mini beetroot, apple celery puree, and spiced coffee gravy | Hokkaido pumpkin and ginger mousse with nut brittle, wild herbs, and confit tomatoes.
Deichmann “Shoe Step Of The Year 2011” | 20 October | HAMBURG
For the first time, Deichmann bestowed a fashion award to fashion journalists within the framework of a gala event at the Hamburg Curio-Haus. Celebrities such as Collien Ulmen-Fernandes, Estefania Küster, Regina Halmich, Mirja du Mont, and the Israeli shoe designer Kobi Levi were among the guests. At the subsequent after show party, the guests brought the evening to an end with culinary delicacies by K&K and star chef Holger Stromberg while listening to the beats of DJane Shari Who.
AUDI Q3 Talk of the Town | 13 October | FRANKFURT
URBAN FUN, VISION, and DESIGN describe the new Audi Q3 presented to 500 invited guests of Audi AG. At the same time the event offered the opportunity to ceremonially present another novelty to the Frankfurt guests: the new location PALAIS FRANKFURT. The three worlds describing the Q3 were reflected within the whole event concept including the food and found an appropriate frame at the beautiful location – between baroque and concrete.
Book presentation “Aus bester Familie” | 13 October | FRANKFURT
Within the context of the Frankfurt Book Fair, a presentation of the book “Aus bester Familie”, published by Verlag Deutsche Standards, took place in the rooms of Ernst & Young GmbH in Eschborn. After the presentation, 150 invited guests from family-owned companies enjoyed a culinary wellness programme presented by the Frankfurt Kofler team with wild salmon on champagne risotto, porcini ravioli with truffle velouté, sous-vide veal cheeks, mini Frankfurt Crown Cake, and much more.
100th anniversary of Hamburg Airport | 24 September | HAMBURG
On the occasion of the celebrations for the 100th anniversary of Hamburg Airport, Emirates Airline invited 120 VIP customers to the security area of the airport. VAE Vice President H. H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was also among the high-ranking guests and did not only enjoy the view of the „just-in-time“ landing A380, but also the catering of the Hamburg Kofler Air Lounge and Catering team.
Caterer of the Year 2011 | Leaders Club Award | Location Award 2011 | ADAM & EVA
Catering inside awarded K&K as “Caterer of the Year” for the PRET A DINER Dining Experience concept (pop-up restaurants). For the third time after 2004 and 2005, we received this extremely important award for the event and catering industry. The Leaders Club Germany honoured us recently for this outstanding gastronomy concept with the “Leaders Club Award 2011”. Furthermore, our Düsseldorf location SIGN! was honoured with the LOCATION AWARD 2011 in the “Design Location” category. Last but not least, one of our catering concepts, handed in by the agency plan-j, was nominated for the ADAM & EVA AWARD 2011.
We are very proud and thank all jury members for their trust. But most of all we thank our staff members as these awards and nominations are the credit of the whole Kofler team, of all units, all restaurants, cafés, and lounges in Germany, Switzerland, and Great Britain. Thank you!
