Exquisite taste just as you like it—and a hot ticket every Tuesday. The S-Tisch (S-Table) at Villa Merton in the Union International Club has been in existence since August 2005. Small courses are served in the style of an Amuse Bouche on a bare wooden table (€ 9,30 per plate). You decide— go the full distance over 9 courses, or drop out when you’re satisfied. Decide how much you would like to spend on your beverages, and Uwe Lorenz will recommend matching wines. Please reserve early for your spot at the S-Table.
Uwe Lorenz has come to Frankfurt from nearby Gießen, where he most recently managed the service of the star-awarded Restaurant Tandreas. He has been the restaurant manager since 2007 and is in charge of the service, as well as the wine list including 650 items. His service philosophy: discreet, efficient and cordial.
Richard Merton commissioned this building in 1925 as a private mansion in the neo baroque style. In 2002, The Union International Club built a restaurant in the mansion, which was awarded a Michelin Star in 2004. Chef de cuisine Matthias Schmidt and restaurant manager Uwe Lorenz are two passionate culinary professionals who, with the help of their extraordinary team, invite you to share their dedication to unforgettable tastes to you.
